Councilman Josh Ingram on Water, Jobs and Data Centers

At the October 4 candidates' gathering at the downtown gazebo, Councilman Josh Ingram told the Royal Examiner that protecting the town's water supply, bringing more jobs to the area, limiting residents' tax burden, and completing the proposed data center ban are his priorities for another term.

Ingram voted against this year's town tax increase. He says the longer-term answer is economic development built on town–county cooperation, with small businesses as "the bread and butter and the soul of the economy here."

"I want to keep the reasons that we all live and work here intact," he said.
